Happy Holi!

We find the coolest things to do in this city!

This week was the Hindu celebration called Holi.

We headed out to an Indian Temple and found this:

It was so. much. fun!

Everyone was smiling and so happy. We walked around the crowd before getting the chance to buy our own dye powder, and got totally covered!

I barely missed this guy's big smile. I love him cause he's so pink!

Happy Holi!

Sri Lanka

Spring Breaks just get better and better. I started the weekend with BSB and then took myself to Sri Lanka for the week.

I can't lie, Sri Lanka has made me the most uneasy out of all the countries I've been to. I think it had a bit to do with being homesick. I went by myself, and that also adds to the lack of confidence to just go see.

But besides all that, I went and conquered a week at Unawatuna beach, like the pro that I am.

It was seriously so beautiful.

The beach was quite small, but that just added to the peacful-ness.
The water came up all he way to the chairs in the afternoon.

The highlight of my trip was seeing these little baby turtles make their way into the big ocean!

Just look at them flapping their way.

I was so in love! I took 50+ pictures of all the little babies.

I spent 5 days on the Emerald Isle just enjoying the sun and a few good books.
Now, back to work! ..for a couple more weeks at least. ;)

Backstreet Boys!

F1 was in Malaysia last weekend so there were all kinds of fun things to do all weekend. Along with some of my fav girls, I went to see the Backstreet Boys as part of an evening long event. It was at the towers, so it  was so easy to get there and back.

I lived out my preteen dream.

I mean look at this! There is no crazy zoom on this picture either. We were THAT close! <3
And please just see how Brian and I had a moment right here.

Their show was perfect.

And this is where I lost all traits of a calm adult. I love him!

They sang every song that I could have hoped for. When they came back for an encore and Backstreet's Back, I just couldn't handle life. It was amazing.
